high resolution pdf book of the scores + an on-going archive of realisations by various artists.
scores for listening (2011-2012)
of course these scores are, by definition, simple - open and playful
the image is a hint, a clue, a visual invitation to the act & art of listening
the text is a suggestion, a quiet thought that the reader can take,
if they so wish,
as a guidance towards closer listening perhaps
for those who wish to know more about ways to approach these scores I would say the following:
a realisation can be the simple act of listening in the environment for a period of time that seems, to each individual, to be intuitively hinted at by the score or by the ways the sound extends up to the edges of the image.
a realisation can be recorded or documented in other ways (text, photograph, drawing etc)
please do send any documentation to me, for inclusion in the archive if you wish....
